DESCRIPTION:50th Conference on Plasma Physics\nThe Plasma Physics Division of the European Physical Society (EPS) organizes this annual conference with a long tradition.  \n  \nIt covers a wide field of plasma physics including Magnetic Confinement Fusion Plasma\, Beam PLasmas & Inertial Fusion\, Low Temperature and Dusty Plasmas\, and Basic\, Space & Astrophysical Plasmas. \nThe venue of the 50th EPS conference will be the Palacio de Congresos de Salamanca located downtown. \n  \nMore information on the website: https://epsplasma2024.com/ \nThe Spanish Center for Pulsed Lasers (CLPU) and the Polytechnic University of. Madrid (UPM) co-organized the conference. \n  \nThis annual conference covers the wide field of Plasma Physics including:\n\nMagnetic Confinement Fusion Plasma\nBeam Plasmas & Inertial Fusion\nLow Temperature and Dusty Plasmas\nBasic\, Space & Astrophysical Plasmas\n\n  \nYou can see the full program here. \n  \nCLPU\nThe Spanish Center for Pulsed Lasers is a scientific and technical unique infrastructure\nVEGA\, the only laser system in Spain capable to reach one petawatt of peak power. A laser system with singular architecture\, as it has three synchronized outputs of different powers that offer services to scientific users around the world. \n\n\n\n\nChirped Pulse Amplification (CPA)\nFrom the very beginning\, the CLPU has looked for a versatile identity that allows more users\, more experiments and more technological\, scientific and innovative development without loss of quality. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHigh Power\nBesides its high power\, and the fact that VEGA can delivery very short pulses of around 30 femtoseconds at 1Hz high repetition rate\, the VEGA laser system of the CLPU has very high contrast (up to 10^-12). \n\n  \nCheck the agenda of the Palacio de Congresos for other events.
